- Speed limits: 50 km/h in towns, 90 km/h outside towns, 110 km/h on dual carriageways.

- The Göcek Tunnel is a toll road; bridge and tunnel tolls are paid by the renter.
- The roads to Ölüdeniz and Butterfly Valley have tight bends — take care in the evening.
- Beach car parks fill up early in summer; we suggest arriving before 10am.
